How to convert JSON to CSV

  1. Choose UTF-8 JSON files up to 10 MB.
  2. Review the conversion report for changed or unsupported values.
  3. Download the CSV result, or save the batch as a ZIP.

Where this file comes from

APIs and database exports often return arrays of JSON objects.

What changes in the conversion

The union of object keys becomes the header. Missing and null values become empty cells; nested arrays and objects become JSON text. Import formula-like cells as text in spreadsheet software.

Size limits and browser notes

Large or deeply nested documents may exceed browser memory. Use files up to 10 MB. Invalid input is rejected without including its contents in errors.

FAQ

What JSON structure works?

A nonempty array of objects. Nested objects become JSON text in a cell; scalar roots and arrays of arrays are rejected.

Does this work offline?

Conversion runs locally after the converter and required libraries have loaded. Files are not uploaded.

What encoding is supported?

UTF-8, with or without a byte-order mark. Export legacy encodings as UTF-8 first.
