Privacy

Short version: conversion on this site runs in your browser, so your files are not uploaded. We count page visits with cookieless analytics, and that never includes file names or contents.

How conversion works

When you open a tool, your browser downloads the page and the converter code from our server. When you choose a file, it is read and converted by that code in a background worker inside your browser tab. The result is made on your device and saved by your browser. There is no upload step, and no server ever sees the file.

The pages are locked down with a Content Security Policy that only lets them connect to our own site and to Cloudflare's analytics endpoint (see below), so the converter code has no way to send a file anywhere else.

What we don't collect

• Your files, their contents, or anything derived from them.
• File names or file sizes.
• Accounts, email addresses or payment details. There is nothing to sign up for.
• Cookies. We don't set any.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit which pages. It is cookieless and page-level: it records things like the page visited, the referring site, and rough browser, device and country information. It never receives file names or file contents, and it does not follow you across other sites. Cloudflare adds it to our pages when they are served.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site. Those requests only fetch pages and code; they never carry your files.
