YAML comments, anchor names and formatting are removed. Aliases are expanded with a limit. Cycles, custom tags, duplicate keys and non-JSON values are refused.

Large or deeply nested documents may exceed browser memory. Use files up to 10 MB. Invalid input is rejected without including its contents in errors.

Can I convert several YAML documents in one file?
No. This converter accepts one YAML 1.2 document per file. Split multi-document streams first.
Does this work offline?
Conversion runs locally after the converter and required libraries have loaded. Files are not uploaded.
What encoding is supported?
UTF-8, with or without a byte-order mark. Export legacy encodings as UTF-8 first.
